The FCH Train project has developed an education and training course for auto mechanics, focused on hydrogen and fuel-cell vehicles such as busses, cars, and trucks. Collaboration between Denmark, Belgium and Scotland allowed the project to collect a strong basis of experiences and new knowledge from different ecosystems. The developed training course was tested by “Auto Teknisk Center” in Viborg, which is a part of Mercantec.

The ambition is to work towards creating an accredited training course as a part of the Danish and Scottish education systems.

The project was a collaboration between the Belgian bus-producer Van Hool, Aberdeen City Council, Mercantec, Ballard Power Systems Europe og Hydrogen Valley/CEMTEC.

FCH Train has received funding from the EU-programme Erasmus+. The project was completed in October 2018.
