OG Decarb

The innovation project OG Decarb (Oil and Gas Decarbonization) was launched to investigate the possibilities for combining wind and wave technologies on a floating foundation.

The result is a floating sustainable source of energy production, which will deliver electricity to platforms in the North Sea. By utilizing electrolysis technology, the energy is stored as hydrogen which can then by used again for producing electricity through fuel-cells in a high baseload, fitted to the platform’s energy needs.
