About

The HyFlexDrive project focused on developing the next generation of flexible and cost-effective fuel-cell systems for material-handling vehicles such as luggage carts.

The goal was to introduce a fuel-cell based material-handling vehicle on the market as an economically sustainable and emission free alternative to the diesel- and battery driven vehicles.

The partners in HyFlexDrive are Ballard Power Systems Europe, Aalborg University and Hydrogen Valley.

The project was initiated in March of 2015 and was completed in January 2019.

EUDP (Energiteknologisk Udviklings- og Demonstrationsprogram) has supported the project with 9,69 mio. DKK.
