FuelCell Energy Inc, who is a global leader in the design, manufacture and operation of fuel cell power plants, has announced plans for a project with one of the worlds largets pharmaceuticl companies, Pfizer Inc.

The project will include the installation of a 5.6 megawatt fuel cell power plant to provide reliable and low carbon electricity and steam for Pfizer’s 160 acre research and development facility in Connecticut.

The fuel cell installation is expected to be fully operational by summer 2016.
