Hydrogen Valley Denmark Welcomes Daniel Lux as New Chief Executive Officer.
The board and staff of knowledge center Hydrogen Valley Denmark and CEMTEC Foundation in Mariagerfjord, Denmark are pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Lux as new Chief Executive Officer.
Since 2002, Hydrogen Valley Denmark has worked to push for green energy transitions, and the leadership of that mission now rests with Daniel Lux heading the team. This is happening at a time where both the Danish government and the EU have a renewed focus on green fuels and biodiversity as keys to green transitions as well as geopolitical security of supply within energy as a high priority.
Daniel Lux brings with him an international profile and many years of experience from operational management and board positions within companies working with innovation, software solutions and energy optimization.
– We, myself and the board members, look forward to working with Daniel Lux. He has strong relevant technical skills and many years of experience from international managerial positions in commercial companies, such as Seluxit A/S. We are confident that Daniel both as a person and by his competences, will come well into play at Hydrogen Valley and CEMTEC. Over the years, Daniel Lux’s commitment to the green transition has resulted not only in a number of innovative business initiatives, but also in knowledge sharing, including a late book publication.

In addition to developing and running the knowledge center Hydrogen Valley Denmark, Daniel Lux will also be heading the business park CEMTEC in Hobro, where Hydrogen Valley is based. The business park gathers 18 companies, the majority of which working with green transition.
Daniel Lux replaces Søren Bjerregaard Pedersen, previous CEO who after seven years has taken up a new position outside the organization.

Hydrogen Valley has more than 20 years of experience in bringing Power-to-X from idea and into action. The project organization takes the initiative for activities, business models and projects to demonstrate how Power-to-X can promote green conversion of the Danish energy system towards being based on renewable energy sources. Projects are carried out in collaboration with companies, organizations and research institutions from both Denmark and abroad.
