On the 22nd and 23rd of April Business Developer Mikael Kau represented the northern region of Denmark, when he participated in the first FCH Smart Specialisation workshop in Lyon.
The workshop was organized by the FCH JU in collaboration with CEA and the JRC Smart Specialization Platform, Institute for Prospective Technologies Studies (IPTS), and hosted by Région Rhône-Alpe.
Mikael Kau was invited to present and elaborate on how Region North Denmark for more than 10 years has contributed to the development within the fuel cell- and hydrogen business area, new projects coming up and the overall vision to become an international demonstration site for future renewable energy solutions.
The participation was impressive and with an audience which varied from industry representatives, researchers and public authorities the workshop led to dynamic discussions and knowledge sharing between stakeholders.
In a follow up arrangement organized by Copenhagen Capacity, Invest in Denmark, The Danish Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Valley- Knowledge & Business Center the dynamic discussion continued. A number of French companies and organizations were invited to this site-event to hear about the Danish initiatives towards a green transition of the energy system and furthermore why Denmark is the right place to invest in the development and activities within the hydrogen and fuel cell business.
