The American Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Energy Association are celebrating the day in order to help raise awareness of clean energy technology and the development within the hydrogen and fuel cell area.
October 8th is chosen as the National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day and is a reference to the atomic weight of Hydrogen, 1.008.
